Lakeside Presbyterian Church is made up of people who gather each week on the northern edge of Richmond to study, worship, laugh, pray and work together for the glory of God.
As a community of faith, the Lakeside Presbyterian Church is guided by the principles and practices of the Reformed branch of the Christian church. We believe that the Bible is God's word, that Jesus is God's Son, and that every person is called to mission and ministry in the church. We also believe that that power and authority in the church should always be shared between clergy and lay people, that men and women are equal in the eyes of God, and that people have a right to individual judgments in matters of faith and practice. Although we are proud of our Presbyterian heritage, we also we work cooperatively with other churches and denominations, understanding that our particular congregation is just one small part of a much larger body of believers who are serving Jesus Christ in the world today.
We welcome into membership people from many different backgrounds and denominations and believe that our diversity gives us strength. If you'd like to know more about the Lakeside Presbyterian Church, please browse through this website or join us for worship any Sunday morning at 8:30 or 11:00 a.m. New faces are always welcome. We'll do our best to help you feel right at home!
